Sir, what is this mean i have seeing rainbow halo around lights?

I had a pair of glasses that was so bad that I had to have another eye exam done with a different doctor entirely because the last guy massively screwed up my prescription to the point where not only could I not see, but even simple movement made me dizzy/nauseated to the point where I couldn't walk with them on. I took the glasses back to the same place I bought them after going to their doctors next door and luckily they put the new prescription in the same frames and it was about a billion times better.

I honestly have to thank you about this video. Got my prescription 3 weeks ago and got the glasses 2 days ago. Today I returned back to this video to see the difference in between watching with glasses by an angle to see the similarity of the simulation and true astigmatism sight side by side. I do not know why but this video was suggested to me a few months ago. My partner had told me about watching and reading everything with a grunt face. I just thought it was my focused face like RBF of something. I did not know what astigmatism was about (English is not my first language) when I clicked myself to this video back then but the topic seemed interesting while having other medical topics on my feed. 3 weeks ago my partner got me finally convinced to go to the optomerist and got diagnosed with -1,75 astigmatism while thinking of having a normal vision. My non-glasses relaxed visus was 0,3 out of 1 (1.0= perfect sight) and I was told I could not drive a car without glasses. 2 days ago got my glasses and everything turned from 720p to 4k. So in short: thank you🫶🏻🤓

Why is being nearsighted worse than being farsighted? I wear glasses for distance, but take them off for near work. My new post cataract lenses mimic what I had before. I just take the glasses off for reading (under eighteen inches). The progressives bring these intermediate distances into focus. Call it differently abled.

Want to talk about weird eyes, I am nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other. And, both eyes have mixed astigmatisms. The prescription I wear is the one where my two eyes work best together, but if I cover either eye and just use one eye things are out of focus. Incredibly, because of how the brain works, I actually have 20/20 vision (and depth perception) when my two eyes work together. The weirdest part is I never knew this about my eyes until I needed reading glasses. Until then, my far eye saw far and my near eye saw near so I never knew I had a problem.

I think this explain well but as reality it is more anoying than seeing on screen. I think it is because of eyedry and strain when wearing glass

I'm sitting here confused as heck because at 3:30 ish he tries to correct to show white and gold, but It just made it a more vibrant blue?????? Then as I am trying to parse that conundrum, it suddenly works on a blue iron?!?!?! Color perception is insane, and I love it. ^-^ EDIT: AND THHHHEEEENNN 4:23 comes along and I see the dress finally, for the very first time.... White and gold. Glorious day.
